Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the role and evolution of administrative records in the context of digital public administration. The efficient functioning of public data management systems is key to increasing the transparency and efficiency of public administration. The research shows that registers not only support the work of public authorities, but are also essential information tools for citizens and economic operators. The study focuses on the development of information and communication technologies and their impact on public administration. BPMN-based modelling offers the possibility of a digital representation of legislation, which can help to automate and simplify administrative processes. In addition, the potential of artificial intelligence and automated decision making opens up new dimensions in the development of administrative processes, in particular in the area of data processing and speeding up administration. The research addresses the challenges of interoperability of administrative systems, highlighting the importance of regulating the flow of data between different public registers. The successful functioning of digital public administration requires the development of a common set of rules to ensure data reliability and compliance with the legal framework. In conclusion, the study concludes that the digitization of administrative records and the use of new technological solutions are essential for modern public administration. Effective legislation, ensuring data protection and the gradual introduction of new technological developments are essential for the development of public administration systems and the creation of a customer-oriented state.
