Summary/Abstract: The presented review study focuses on the current state and development of didactics in vocational education in the Czech Republic. The aim of the study is to evaluate the current state of didactics of vocational subjects and didactics of practical teaching in secondary schools in the Czech Republic and to indicate the further possible development of these didactics in the changes marked by the digitalization of the trade and service industry, i.e. the sectors for which secondary vocational schools prepare their graduates. The first part defines the discourse of the problem under study. The second part is then devoted to the analysis of the state of development of each group of sectoral didactics in vocational education. The last part focuses on possible perspectives of the development of the concerned subject didactics.
