Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on one of the crucial stages in the formation of the subject of the apocalyptic event in William Blake’s mythopoeia. The central claim is that in his epic poem Milton, the poet performs a peculiar act of kenosis epitomized by Milton’s coming down from heaven to enter mortal Blake’s foot. This prepares the merger between Blake’s “real” persona and Los – the imaginary figure of the visionary poet.
