Summary/Abstract: This article presents research on how contemporary families spend their leisure time and the role of media in this context. The study, conducted in Slovakia, found that while many families prefer active leisure, there's a growing trend towards passive activities involving modern technology. The research examines the impact of media on family life and the respondents' awareness of its influence.
