Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the intersection of gender, military ethics, and hybrid warfare, emphasizing the erosion of women's rights in modern global conflict settings. It critically examines shifts in U.S. and Russian leadership approaches to gender equality, particularly within military institutions. Drawing on international legal frameworks such as jus ad bellum, jus in bello, and jus post bellum, it highlights the ethical obligations in wartime conduct. Through case studies, including the war in Ukraine and historical perspectives from World War II, it reveals the persistent use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and the underrepresentation of women in military leadership and peacebuilding efforts. The author advocates for a redefinition of military ethics to reflect current geopolitical realities and promote gender-inclusive conflict resolution policies.
