Humanist Judaism, which has reached a substantial audience since its establishment, is known as the fifth sect among modern Jewish sects. The basic doctrines adopted by the sect since the day it appeared on the stage of history cause serious debates among Jews. As a matter of fact, most of these doctrines; it is not on a parallel plane with halakha in terms of metaphysics, ontological and practical aspects. The idea of "Godless Judaism" forms the basis of the belief principles of humanist Judaism. In this context, it is stated that Judaism is not based on a divine origin. According to them, the essence of Judaism is a common Jewish culture, life, and universal moral norms. Since the understanding of God adopted by humanist Judaism is contrary to the principles of Traditional Judaism, members of this sect are treated as atheists, agnostics, etc. by other Jews are subject to accusations. In this study, the criticisms and accusations of the Humanist Jews were answered with the concept of "Ignosticism", which emerged for the first time under the leadership of Sherwin Theodor Wine. At the same time, as in the vision of God, some differences come to the fore in the subjects of the holy text and prophecy. Revelation is not accepted as a reliable source of information because the perspective of humanist Jews is on a positivist line. For this reason, the events and situations mentioned in the sacred text do not reflect reality. In this study, the decisions taken by the Humanist Jews according to their own principles; after the studies conducted in the academic field were examined, it was presented to the reader with the support of the contributions of organizations such as IISHJ, SHJ, HuJews. In the study, a comparative method was followed with the doctrines of Traditional Judaism to better reveal the difference in the origins of Humanist Judaism. This study aims to examine the thoughts of Humanist Judaism from a closer perspective and to try to understand the justifications of its doctrines.
