Summary/Abstract: The changes that have taken place in the Roman Catholic Church a er the Second Va canCouncil resulted, among other things, in an increase in the importance of the laypeople,including women. This is par cularly evident in the community of the Catholic charisma cmovement where women o en have leadership and teaching roles. The aim of this ar cleis to present a conceptualisa on of the human–God rela onship from the point of view ofa woman. The material is based on the lyrics of songs from the album Live experience. On wracaby Maja Sowinska – a member of one of the Polish charisma c communi es. In the analysis,the conceptual blending theory as proposed by Gilles Fauconnier and Mark Turner was applied.From among the many aspects of the human–God rela onship expressed in the works, a fewrepresenta ve ones were foregrounded for the purpose of the ar cle. These include in macy,the percep on of the rela onship with God as the fulfi lment of an inner desire, union, and thecapacity for crea ve transforma on.
