Summary/Abstract: The authors of the article, through the philosophy of education, seek and offer answers to its meaning and to prepare a person for a full-fledged experience of his own life, to help him confirm his existence through creative actions, to overcome the world and himself. The authors gradually develop and deal with the issue of human dignity in the context of suffering and the meaning of life. They start from ontological personalism and point out the possible meanings of suffering, such as trials, sacrifice, achievement and growth. They offer a Christian perspective on the phenomenon of human suffering and pain.
