Summary/Abstract: This article aims to expose, in a comprehensive manner, the challenges of illegal migration in the Schengen area. The analysis of the theme is centered on an interdisciplinary approach. From this perspective, the main mechanisms for repressing illegal migration are presented together with the cooperation of the European authorities.
