Summary/Abstract: Digital game addiction is one of the problems brought about by today's technological advancements. The preschool period is a crucial developmental phase during which both family influence and school experience play significant roles in a child's life. Particularly for preschool children who require effective guidance and leadership the leadership of parents in the family environment and the classroom management styles of teachers become determining factors in shaping their behavior. For this reason, the present study investigates digital game addiction within the framework of the concepts of ‘leadership’ in families and ‘management’ in classrooms. This study is expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge. A literature review was conducted to examine the impact of leadership in families of preschool students and the classroom management styles of their teachers on digital game addiction. Based on relevant keywords, a total of fifty-four sources comprising forty-one articles, nine theses, and four books—were reviewed as part of the research. The data obtained from these studies were analyzed using the document analysis method. The research concluded that the leadership and management styles involving ‘democratic’ practices by both families and teachers of preschool children are effective in preventing and reducing digital game addiction.
