Summary/Abstract: Various historical periods and the evolution of society have contributed to the formation of new roles for women. The modern era and globalization have supported women's struggles for rights and participation in all social processes, resulting in new roles - such as the educated woman and the working woman. However, throughout all historical periods, women have consistently held roles closely tied to the family, including those of daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Since the earliest stages of civilization, women have been responsible for caring for children and serving as the guardians of the family. With conception and childbirth, a woman assumes a new role - that of a mother. The role of the mother is reflected in the care and nurturing of the child, as well as in creating connections between the child, other family members, and the outside world. The aim of this paper is to explore the role of women as mothers and the mutual influence of their other social roles on the maternal role.
