Summary/Abstract: Mediation is a method of resolving disputes amicably, with the help of a third party mediator, in conditions of neutrality, impartiality, confidentiality, and with the free consent of the parties. Mediation is based on the trust that the parties place in the mediator, as a person able to facilitate negotiations between them and to support them in resolving the conflict, by obtaining a mutually convenient, efficient, and sustainable solution.
