Summary/Abstract: Today, individuals are faced with many pressures from various sources. One of the most common therapy methods that people use to get away from their mental distress is art. It has been known through studies on art therapy for many years that ceramic art allows individuals to express their feelings and experiences and has a relaxing effect on human psychology. Qualitative research methods were used in this study, which examined the perceptions of people who take courses from art studios that provide ceramic education on ceramic art. In this context, interviews were conducted with people who regularly receive ceramic education from a private art studio, and their views on ceramic art before and after receiving the education were examined. The main purpose of the study is to prove with concrete data whether the education received creates an improvement in the perception of ceramic art. The semi-structured interview form prepared for the provision of data was directed to the participants via live connections in a computer environment, considering ethical principles. The interviews show that the education received by the participants has a positive effect on the formation of awareness of ceramic art. However, apart from the basic information known about ceramics, it has been observed that, contrary to popular belief, it is not a simple art form but one that requires intense effort, and that it is used in many different areas, relaxes human psychology, and creates awareness that it changes aesthetic perception and perspective.
