Summary/Abstract: The semiosphere, which refers to a semiotic area in which elements such as symbols, icons and language belonging to culture take place, has an important place especially in the interpretation of texts seen as memory products. In this study, Turkish world epic texts with the presence of cultural meanings, codes and various symbols belonging to Turkish culture are considered as a Turkish semiosphere belonging to Turkish culture. As a genre that has been continued for centuries in different geographies and ensures the continuation of cultural interaction and communication of Turkish culture, the epics of the Turkic world draw attention as an indicator of Turkish thought and perception, especially with similar motifs. In this study, the motif of childlessness, the motif of the alpine woman, the dream motif, the formulaic number motif, the horse motif, the wolf motif, the light motif which attract attention as common motifs in the epics of the Turkic world, are tried to be interpreted within the framework of cultural semiotician Yuri Lotman's semiosphere concept and the common epic motifs of the Turkic world are tried to be explained as a Turkish-specific thinking and perception. For this reason, the literature was scanned to identify common motifs in the epic texts of the Turkish world, and the findings in the literature were analyzed, described and interpreted.
