Summary/Abstract: Fundamental changes in the international system are underway. The unipolar world order is breaking down, and the evolving global landscape is characterized by geopolitical shifts, new confrontations, struggles for spheres of influence, and growing economic uncertainty. These developments impact the nature of relations between the European Union and China, as both perceive the transformation of the international system differently. The changing geopolitical landscape establishes a new framework for relations between Brussels and Beijing, the analysis of which is the primary objective of this article.
