INNOVATIVE APPROACHES IN EMPOWERING AND CONNECTING WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS OF SERBIA AND MALTA

Summary/Abstract: Digital transformation and innovation are shaping the contemporary business landscape, bringing both new challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurship, particularly women’s entrepreneurship. In the context of digital disruption, it is crucial to identify the factors that contribute to the improvement of the business environment and enable women to fully realize their entrepreneurial potential, both in Serbia and across Europe. This paper is based on the project The Bridge of Successful Women of Serbia and Malta, with the aim of emphasizing the importance of applying hybrid techniques as an innovative approach to education and the implementation of contemporary trends in strengthening the capacities of women entrepreneurs. The project included workshop-based lectures on business strategies, marketing, and digital tools, accompanied by an assessment of the program’s effects on the improvement of existing businesses and the empowerment of women entrepreneurs at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey. The study analyzes the specific challenges faced by women in a dynamic and rapidly changing global environment, with particular focus on the development of a community of women entrepreneurs through mutual support, knowledge sharing, and exchange of experiences. The application of a hybrid model—combining digital technologies, mentoring, and in-person meetings—demonstrated more effective implementation and greater accessibility of resources. Special attention in the research was given to indicators related to the utilization of existing capacities in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the initiative. Already during the implementation phase, positive results were observed regarding the project’s impact on the networking and empowerment of women entrepreneurs from Serbia and Malta. The project highlights the significance of international cooperation and innovative educational strategies aimed at enhancing women’s entrepreneurship and strengthening business ecosystems.
