Summary/Abstract: In the 21st century global network era, political, economic, and cultural exchanges have become increasingly frequent and interconnected. Networks enable countries to maintain high-speed and convenient information dissemination and communication in what is often referred to as a “global village”. However, the current state of external communication regarding China’s intangible cultural heritage leaves much to be desired. While efforts have been made for its international dissemination, it has not yet been well embraced on a global scale. Micro-courses help facilitate the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture. And this study focuses on the special role of micro course in the process of teaching Chinese intangible cultural heritage for external communication from the perspective of interactive ritual chain theory.
