From handmade to…

Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses the current issue of the place and impact of computer technology in the area of visual arts. The fact is that they have had, and continue to have, their unforeseen conceptual impact on the whole cultural environment. Digitalization has created a new aesthetic background for the development of art in the near and more distant unforeseeable future. Our fears that this technological tool could be effectively exploited by artists and non-artists alike are grounds for putting the notion of art (what is art and what is not art) on a new plane altogether. Such a question is particularly relevant in an educational academic environment where the conventional HAND MADE product has its fundamental foundational importance.
