Summary/Abstract: Domestic analyses as well as analyses by relevant international organizations have shown that Bosna and Herzegovina needs to provide more efficient system for fighting against different forms of crimes such as corruption, money laundering, terrorism, financing of terroristic activities, including prevention and repression, and prove that crime does not pay by adequate implementation of a mechanism to facilitate confiscation of proceeds of crime. Although, developed countries with more stable economy are not free of this problem, it is more visible in developing countries that are more convenient base to diverse range of criminal activities; therefore, we are more obliged to perceive this problem from different relevant aspects and process it usingapplicable scientific research methods as analytical method, comparative method, deductive and inductive methods, and explorative and descriptive methods. Aiming to find solutions for better quality of life and safety of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina based on legal certainty and the rule of law, and confirming the road striving to Euro-Atlantic integrations, it is clear that domestic normative and institutional system needs to be harmonized with the relevant European and international legislation and standards, and additional judicial capacity building needs to be undertaken in order to increase quality and efficiency of judicial practise, as well as to raise the awareness and responsibility of all citizens of Bosnia and Hercegovina.
