Summary/Abstract: In times of globalization, maintaining a relatively stable system of security in the world has become undoubtedly a difficult and costly task which is also connected with emergence of asymmetrical threats and new types of warfare. The security of Europe is only one aspect of the global security. Rapid and effective identification of threats in the area where the EU’s treaty is in effect and also on the outskirts of the continent (the time of preparation and reaction to the threats has been limited to the minimum) is of vital significance to the accomplishment of the best prevention skills and to maintaining the stabilizing Community structures.
