Summary/Abstract: is article explores the implementation and acceptance of Robotic Process Automation(RPA) technology at the Hospital of Pulmonary Diseases in Olsztyn, Poland. With thehealthcare sector increasingly under pressure to enhance efficiency while maintaininghigh-quality patient care, RPA provides a promising avenue for process optimization.Understanding the factors that affect the acceptance and successful implementation ofthis technology is critical for organizations seeking to leverage its full potential. e mainpurpose of this paper is to investigate the factors influencing the acceptance of RPAtechnology in a medical facility, using the MARPA technology acceptance model. estudy aims to identify organizational determinants related to personnel, tasks, andstructure that impact the success of RPA adoption. e research employs the MARPAtechnology acceptance model as a framework for analysing organizational factors. estudy focuses on qualitative and quantitative data from the Hospital of PulmonaryDiseases to assess the interplay between change management, staff support, and thealignment of RPA technology with specific organizational needs. e findings reveal thatthe successful acceptance of RPA technology in medical facilities hinges on effectivechange management, robust staff support, and the customization of RPA solutions tomeet the unique requirements of the organization. Employees buy-in and adaptability totechnological change were identified as critical components of success. is papercontributes to the literature on technology acceptance in healthcare by applying andvalidating the MARPA model in a real-world setting. It highlights the interplay betweenorganizational dynamics and technology adoption, offering a nuanced understanding ofthe factors influencing RPA implementation. e research underscores the importanceof strategic change management and workforce engagement when introducing RPA inhealthcare settings. It provides actionable insights for managers and decision-makers,emphasizing the need for tailored technology solutions and structured support systemsto ensure successful adoption and integration of RPA into organizational processes.
