Summary/Abstract: The main tasks of the warehouse is a dynamic balancing of material flow, volume and space in all phases of the business process. With effective implementation of internal transport, storage needs to ensure continuity of production of good working conditions. The stock must maintain a constant quality of material preservation, protection and maintenance of the physical and chemical properties of materials. Do not let wastage, failure, breakage and other losses in the value of inventories. Objective of this research is the optimal choice for forklift in Madi company applying the method for decision making. During this study we found that the company Madi did not apply methods of multiple criteria decision making when purchasing a forklift, therefore had severe losses. These losses were incurred as a result of taking into account only two parameters when selecting a forklift, such as price and brand forklifts, while other parameters (fuel consumption, maintenance and payload) omitted. The results show that these methods achieve significant savings in time reloading and storage of goods as well as longer life forklifts.
