Summary/Abstract: Since 1991, Ukraine has become independent, but its identity and religious issues, generated by the collapse of the Soviet Union, remain understudied. However, looking at its new position as part of modern Europe, it can be argued that research related to Ukraine is becoming a relevant scientific topic. Thus, the presented work aims to explore the formation of the philosophical aesthetics of the formation of Ukrainian culture. The work is aimed at studying the features of Ukraine as an independent state, which is at the crossroads of transformations and is trying to restore its cultural, spiritual and philosophical heritage, because the independence of Ukraine is one of the most important geopolitical events of the 20th century. The work includes a literature review and scientific opinions relevant to the topic, and the work achieves maximum objectivity. The object of the work is to highlight the current state of Ukrainian culture, which is becoming a brand all over the world. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that, on the one hand, Ukraine claims its cultural originality, and on the other hand, it asserts its internal affiliation with Western culture. Since the presented work is simultaneously historical, cultural, religious and philosophical, various branches of the humanities were involved and the most complete information about the Ukrainian cultural and philosophical component was obtained. Methods of work: two approaches were used in this study. The first approach is to analyze the historical development of the culture of the Ukrainian people. This approach involves the analysis of relevant scientific sources and the selection of thematic works from specialists from different countries. The second approach is aimed at an in-depth study of the religious and philosophical context, which, in our opinion, is the basis for the formation of the aesthetics and culture of the Ukrainian nation. Under modern conditions, the restoration of the national religious and philosophical heritage in Ukrainian society is life-saving.
