Summary/Abstract: Little is known about the musical activity of Bolko von Hochberg (1843–1926). He published his compositions under the nom de plume of “J.H. Franz,” “JohannHeinrich Franz” or “Pazdirek.” This article collects key biographical information and in-cludes a list of works whose authorship can be attributed to him.
