Summary/Abstract: The author critically examines the book "Sociology of Revolution - a Marxist View" by Yuri Krasin and published in English. Obviously, this book is addressed to western readers. It deals with the bourgeois sociology of the present revolutionary era. Even though Krasin gives a fair summary of the opinion of western sociologists of revolution and even though he is making concessions to his colleagues and opponents in the discussion of further subjects, his main concern lies in proving that only Marxism-Leninism can claim to be a scientific theory of revolution.
