Soviet repressive policy of the 1930s in Ukraine (according to the materials of the state archive of Kharkiv region)

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to find out the source potential of the documents of the State Archives of Kharkiv region, which can shed light on the course and scale of the mass repression conducted by Soviet power in Ukraine in the 1930s. For this purpose, archival and criminal cases that represent the basis of the archival fund (R-6452) stored in the State Archives of Kharkiv Region are divided into groups according to their content and purpose. The following categories of documents are distinguished: materials of arrest and search, materials of investigation and rehabilitation.
