Summary/Abstract: The cliché of the “Russian world” has become increasingly prevalent in variousdiscourses. For a long time, the concept of the “Russian world,” understood asa civilization united by linguistic, ethnocultural, and religious principles, has beenextensively studied. However, its conceptualization remains open to interpretation. While existing studies predominantly focus on historical, cultural, and philosophicalaspects, there is a notable lack of linguistic research and analysis of its functioningacross various discourses. This article aims to provide a brief conceptualization ofthe “Russian world” by examining how it is verbalized within the national corpusof the Russian language. The research methodology encompasses semantic analysis,cognitive-semantic description, and a sociolinguistic approach to analyzing theverbalization of the concept under study. The data reveal that, in the corpus, the“Russian world” concept primarily functions as a cultureme and an ideologeme, and,to a lesser extent, as a mythologeme.
