Summary/Abstract: Disaster, These are ecological events with loss of life and property that disrupt the normal life of society continue to respond, adapt, and generate foreign aid products. While anxiety is generally considered a future-oriented, long-acting response focused on a widespread threat, fear is an appropriate, present oriented and short-lived response to a clearly identifiable and specific threat. This study aims to examine the relationship between disaster preparedness perceptions and anxiety levels among personnel working pre-hospital emergency health services. The population of the research consists of 165 pre-hospital emergency healthcare workers working in 11 112 Emergency Health Services stations serving in Gebze and Çayırova districts of Kocaeli province. The research was conducted with 111 pre-hospital emergency healthcare workers by making the necessary calculations for population and sample size. The SPSS program was used to analyze the collected data. According to the analysis, notable findings are; 36.9% of the participants (41 people) were between the ages of 35-50; 65.8% (73 people) were women; 52.3% (58 people) were married; It was determined that 40.5% (45 people) had a bachelor’s degree and 50.5 % (56 people) had an income twice the minimum wage. As a result of the correlation analysis conducted within the scope of the research, a negative, low-level significant relationship was detected between the perception of disaster preparedness and the level of anxiety. As a result of the research, the rates regarding the marital status, education status and gender of the pre-hospital emergency healthcare workers participating in the service were recorded, and when no significant difference could be detected between the lower values, a significant difference was detected between their income status and age.
