Summary/Abstract: Roleplay has been accepted as a valid adult training technique. The origins of roleplay, as well as its potential if enhanced with other psychodramatic interventions, have not been explored enough. Even though psychodrama has been used for training reasons since decades ago, it has not been widely integrated into training curriculums. In this paper, we describe the basic concepts of psychodramatic techniques and interventions, and we illustrate some ways in which they can be used in mediation training through a case-based, experiential approach for professional development.
