Summary/Abstract: The following contribution briefly examines the relationship between art and peacebuilding, considering both the role of art in the reflection and in the practice of transforming conflict, and the possibility of framing conflict transformation within an artistic activity. The article briefly introduces also to the other contributions that were included in the issue 1/2021 of Mediares, thereby serving as an ideal introduction to the number.
