"MOST" - A MAGAZINE FOR LITERATUR, ART, SCIENCE AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS OF BULGARIANS IN SERBIA

Summary/Abstract: The article provides basic information about the magazine for literature, art, science and social issues in Bulgarian "MOST" of the Bulgarians in Serbia. The magazine was published by the "Bratstvo" publishing house from 1965 to 2012 and during this period a total of 220 issues were published. In addition to literary texts by representatives of the Bulgarian minority in Yugoslavia, i.e. in Serbia, the magazine publishes poetic and prose works in Bulgarian, translations of Serbian writers, as well as popular science and journalistic texts. This magazine is of exceptional importance for all researchers of Bulgarian culture in Serbia, because it provides information about the cultural development of this minority group, mainly in the Tsaribrod and Bosilegrad regions, but also presents the role of the Bulgarian minority in connecting Serbian and Bulgarian culture in the broadest sense.
