Forms of Corruption in the Penitential Environment

Summary/Abstract: The report examines some problems arising in the implementation of activities related to the execution of imprisonment, the ethical implementation of which is a guarantee of legality in correctional institutions. On the other hand, there is a lack of professional ethics in penal enforcement, a circumstance that endangers public safety, given the risks that would arise in the face of the successful implementation of the objectives set out in Article 36 of the Criminal Code. The presentation focuses on the problems related to corrupt behavior identified in places of deprivation of liberty and possible policies for its minimization
