Alternatives for Solving Technological Problems in Underwater Development of Fields with Dredges

Summary/Abstract: A brief historical overview of underwater mining of aggregates deposits with dredgers worldwide and in particular for the conditions of Bulgaria is presented. The development of underwater mining is monitored, as a result of which their applicability and efficiency in accordance with environmental requirements is established. The advantages and disadvantages of technological schemes for underwater mining, technical means, transport systems and monitoring and control systems are examined. Alternatives are proposed for solving current tasks related to increasing the operational characteristics of dredgers, their automated control, as well as the possibilities for implementing artificial intelligence. The expected results are aimed at achieving optimal technical and economic indicators
