Summary/Abstract: The article examines the regulations and functioning of the school inspectorate in Eastern Rumelia within the period following Bulgaria’s Liberation (March 3, 1878) until the Unification (September 6, 1885). It traces the legal changes in the context of the country's complex political and economic situation, when Bulgaria was divided into two parts, while also exploring the development of the educational administration in Eastern Rumelia. The article aims to provide a historical overview of the establishment and consolidation of the inspectorate as a key administrative body within the educational system.
