Summary/Abstract: The baroque composer Georg Philip Telemann is presented. The genesis and the specifics of the genre Fantasy during the Baroque era are considered. Fantasies for solo flute TWV 40:2–13 are described. A musical-aesthetic and interpretational analysis of Fantasies № 2, a moll and № 3, h moll was made.
