Summary/Abstract: Currently there are about 450 knight brotherhoods in Poland. Being a medieval warrior is mainly an interesting hobby, as not many Brothers live according to the medieval knightly ideals. Some, however, pronounce it as a manifesto against metrosexualism and an affirmation of the “good, old” patriarchal system.
