The synthesizer – a tool for clarifying the metronomy and time signatures in Bulgarian folk melodies

Summary/Abstract: The report examines the metrorhythmic aspects of some folk melodies, each of which is found in different time signatures in musical theory and practice. The aim is, after analyzing and recording them on a synthesizer, where the simple beats can be precisely traced and determined, by comparing them with the works already notated in the textbooks and the listener's accumulated musical-aural representations, to establish the most correct time signature for each of the melodies and its introduction and consolidation in the teaching of musical folklore
