Summary/Abstract: The presented topic contains several aspects and is related to the activities of the “Laboratory of Iconography and Semiotics”, established in 1999 by a decision of the Academic Council at the “Ep. Konstantin Preslavski” University of Shumen and headed by me. The proposed research program was met with understanding by the then university management.
