Summary/Abstract: Purpose: In this research, drawing on social exchange theory, we presented and evaluated a moderated mediation model, investigating trust in supervisor (TIS) as a mediator and psychological contract breach (PCB) as a moderator in the correlation between abusive supervision and individual creativity. Methodology: Data were collected from 275 employees employed in 11 private banks located in a city in Eastern Turkey. Results: The results revealed that TIS mediated the correlation between abusive supervision and individual creativity. Moreover, analyses of moderated mediation demonstrated that PCB moderated the indirect correlation between abusive supervision and individual creativity via TIS. Conclusion: This study enhances the abusive supervision literature by incorporating research on TIS and PCB.
