Summary/Abstract: In my paper I examine the judicial remedies applicable against the decisions of public administrative bodies; whether by what means the client can seek legal redress against the acts and eventual encroachments of the bodies of State authority. This topic is particularlycurrent and relevant by the fact that from 1 March 2020 the possibility of appeal –which was the general instrument of judicial remedy in the public administration since 1952 –has been abolished. Injuriuos judicial decisions can be challenged at court. Is making exclusive the court supervision separated from the administrative bodies beneficial for the citizens, or does it lead to the decreasing of their remedies? In my opinion, the experience of almost three decades in Hungary passed since the re-establishment of the administrative justice is not only adequate to summarize the tends formed till now, but this summary is necessary because of the unprecedented change introduced on 1 March 2020 in our public administration system.
