Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the relationship between law and morality, questioning whether there is a convergence of the two. An analysis of H. L. A. Hart’s critical positivism in the context of the neoliberal philosophy of law R. Dworkin was made, in view of the possibility someone has to live in complete separation of law from morality. The above considerations must be accompanied by reflection on the so-called hard cases, as well as reflections on the contemporary implications of law and morality.
