Summary/Abstract: The study aims to present the main features of the judicial review carried out by the Court of Justice of the European Union in the context of appeals against decisions of the General Court of the European Union. The presentation is based on the relevant provisions relating to appeals before the Court against decisions of the General Court contained in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, the Statute and the Rules of Procedure of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Given that these provisions circumscribe the principles governing appeals before the Court of Justice, the study naturally analyses the case-law of the Court in order to highlight the interpretation it has given to these principles with regard to the conditions and limits for exercising appeals against decisions of the General Court.
