Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to explore the image of the being in a state of becoming, as captured by the Transylvanian poet Ioan Pintea, understanding the poem as an existential act, as a new „mystery” of religious experience that encompasses the drama of the search for faith as it emerges in the anthology of poems One Hundred and One Poems, published in 2022 by the Romanian Academy Publishing House. A certain apophaticism of the mystical experience short-circuits the lyrical discourse, outlining the coordinates of the poet’s existence as a religious person in a fundamentally desacralized world.
