Summary/Abstract: The Romanian Civil Code misses a general theory of legal deeds. However, it has the tools to build one up starting from the theory of contract that could be adapted for regulating the unilateral deeds as well. This paper explores a way to deduct of such a theory by the legal literature. It also shows several examples (mostly from the rea of business law) where such a theory could prove useful.
