Summary/Abstract: The article examines the types of social services and their financing in the Republic of Bulgaria. According to current legislation, social services are provided in the community and in specialized institutions. Bodies related to social assistance in the Republic of Bulgaria are the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Agency for Social Assistance, NOI, Main Labor Inspectorate, Employment Agency, etc.
