Summary/Abstract: The world in recent days is faced with various kinds of situations and conflicts that affect lives of humans as well as their existence and lead to the displacement of people from their homes or their countries. International law (Isokaite, 2016) sets out the rights of every individual and the responsibility of states to ensure the protection of these rights that can be enjoyed by women, girls, men and boys on equal basis without any discrimination and regardless of age, religion, ethnic or racial background during all times including the times of internal displacement (Adeola, 2021a). Current statistics indicate that there are more people displaced within state borders than persons displaced outside states (Adeola 2021b).
