Protection Against Terrorist Incidents Using Cars in Urban Areas

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses terrorist threats in which a vehicle (car) was used. The authors analyzed terrorist attacks, the tactics of their implementation, taking into account the events that took place in 2016-2017. The data presented included the number of terrorist incidents using cars, the number of victims, the number of the injured. The events that took place in the European Union were presented. The article presents the VSB's technical solutions for securing selected zones, areas, critical infrastructure facilities against attack with motor vehicles.
