Summary/Abstract: Research objectives and hypothesis/research questionsThe aim of the article is to attempt to determine the conditions for effective management of a publicorganization on the example of public primary schools.Research methodsAnalysis of the literature on the subject and internet query. Main resultsDespite many comments regarding the perfection of measuring school work, researchers remain unani-mous in the statement that all school activities should always be rational in their operation and effectivein achieving the set goals. The authors discussing the issue of assessing the quality of functioning of aneducational institution, although they show the weakness of the measures used, nevertheless emphasizethe relationship between the effectiveness of public school management and a high level of education.Implications for theory and practiceIn order to achieve more effective upbringing and educational results of the school in the future, we sho-uld pay attention to the selection of good school management and properly recognize the environment,available resources and focus our activities on building relationships with the environment.
