The cultured neologic suffix '-iadă' brings to mind the Iliad, in other words, a group of strong men, each a hero in his own right, traversing considerable distances to put to sword and fire the predominantly peaceful population (of course, with exceptions) of a city named Ilion (Ili... Ion... how ironically history grins at us!).
