Summary/Abstract: The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Human Resource Management (HRM) practices has significantly transformed organizational operations. This study aims to investigate the effect of AI implementation on job burnout through the mediating role of work-life balance (WLB). A structured questionnaire was designed and distributed via the Internet, targeting employees in Jordanian industrial companies. Out of 257 potential respondents, 149 completed the questionnaire, providing a robust sample for statistical analysis. The statistical analysis revealed that AI implications in HRM practices positively affect work-life balance in Jordanian industrial companies. Moreover, the analysis showed that a positive work-life balance significantly reduces job burnout, underscoring the critical role of WLB in maintaining employee well-being. Importantly, the mediation analysis confirmed that WLB mediates the relationship between AI implications and job burnout, highlighting its role in mitigating the potential stressors introduced by AI. These results have significant implications for HR professionals and organizational leaders. Additionally, providing adequate training and support for employees on using AI tools can help mitigate techno-stressors, ensuring that the benefits of AI are fully realized without increasing job-related stress.
